Encased Olympic Plates feature patented
opposing grips, so they're safer and more
comfortable to use than plates with other
grip configurations. Lifting and carrying
a plate with opposing grips enables the
palms and wrists to face each other, distributing
weight almost entirely to the bicep. And
since the bicep is Biomechanically well
situated to lift and hold heavy objects,
this is an ideal method of lifting. The
high quality Rubber will protect your equipment
from damage and lower noise levels in the
free weight area. IGX Rubber Olympic plates
are available in 2.5 lb., 5 lb., 10 lb.,
25 lb., 35 lb., and 45 lb. sizes,
with kilogram equivalent weight markings
on all sizes. The 2.5 and 5 lb do not
have hand grips.
